Is there a way to change the permalink structure?

I am currently using the Q&A plugin from WPMUDEV. I was happy to see that Anspress recognizes all the previous questions right out of the box.

The only problem for me is that it changes the slug. Instead of Q&A’s slug www.mysite.com/questions/(question title), Anspress adds two more elements www.mysite.com/questions/question/(question ID)/(question title)

Can you add an option to change the permalink structure?

I pretty much had the same question

I want this to be on my homepage, does the plugin have to follow the permalink:
example.com/here/here/777/topic-here
Or can it be
example.com/topic-here or example.com/777/topic-here

any flexibility?
