After updating AnsPress to 2.4 make sure to do this:

  1. Change AnsPress base page title from ANSPRESS_TITLE to anything you want.
  2. Save AnsPress options.

How do you change page title? What control panel? Editor? Where? Please explain.

I have changed the page title from ANSPRESS_TITLE to my own custom title. I have also added this new title on Anspress options > Pages > Base page title.

But the front-end title of the base page is always just ‘Questions’. My custom title is not showing up.

Please let me know what to do.

Mr Aryan. We have already changed it. Anspress discussion board is showing in our special page however only Question Topics work. If someone wants to ask a question, question link is not working at all. Moreover, for example my special page was “X” which has [anspress] in it. However when update done, the “X” changed to “Questions” by itself and there is no option to change it again “X”. Please help.

wp-admin->pages-> X -> edit change title.
AnsPress option -> pages -> base page title
And hit save

Also check: AnsPress option -> pages -> page slug. If any page slug is empty fill it.

Mr Aryan, we already tried it. Its not working at all. It is really weird and
All the slugs are full too.

Mail has sent. Thank you for your help.

Hi Rahul, I have this exact same problem.

Please tell me what I need to do. Thanks!

Zoheb, we have solved it. Just chose your special page X which has included [anspress] short code as base page but leave “question help page” and “answer help page” as “Choose a page” not your special page X. Than refresh your query.

That worked. Thanks!

How can it be that ANSPRESS_TITLE was used as the base page?

There were explicit instructions on the setup page NOT to use it as the base page.
