how to set email notification for follwers, there is only setting for admin email notification

I would like to know this as well

There is one solution we are using with some WP and a forum.

Instead of sending emails right away, queue them and send them slowly.

Several plugins exist, we use the following:

SMTP Mailing Queue

That way, (almost) all shared hosting plan can be used.
