Can’t have the ask question page to display?
Hi,
I installed Anspress plugins following the instructions, setup the base page, save Anspress options, added the Anspress menu items to my menu. When I click on ‘ask question’ the page is not found!! The question page appears correctly but not the ‘ask question’ page.

I’ve been struggling since a week to find the solution, reinstalling Anspress again and again.
If someone could help it would be awesome!!

I think that I had encountered a similar problem . Are you on apache or nginx server ? If you are on apache make sure that there is proper write permission on the .htaccess file and if you are on nginx make sure that the configuration file is alright .

Did you installed cache plugin ? if yes please disable it for AnsPress page.

there is chat/ticket widget at bottom of screen.
I think issue is due to pemalink. please update permalink to %postname%
To show the ASK page Menu in your site Navigation go to your wp-admin Dashboard go down and hover on Appearance Menu then Select Menus.
Look up to find AnsPress Pages.
Click ASK and then add to menu then save.

Thank you Prince. I did all that, it’s appearing in my menu, as well as within a red button in the ‘questions’ page, the issue is the page not displaying. Do I have to create an empty ‘Ask’ page and put some shortcake in it?
Issue solved. as permalink need to %postname% 🙂
