Can AnsPress use theme’s or other plugins like EDD Frontend submission’s signup process instead of its own?

Hi,

I would like to build a Q&A page on top of my marketplace theme wordpress site. That means I have already used the theme and EDD to set up user’s profile and signup process. Can AnsPress integrate with this?

If I’m not mistaken AnsPress can work with any sign-up process that creates a WordPress user profile – as it just uses (or creates) the WordPress accounts.

I’m using it as a community tool in combination with WooCommerce and Woo Membership, and I haven’t run into any problems while testing 🙂

(Sign-up / account creation is handled by WooCommerce and AnsPress just uses those I think)

How does the vendor profile look like in this case?

In my case I don’t have vendors, just members. And AnsPress isn’t “directly integrated” within my WooCommerce account page, if that’s what you’re asking. They are both separate things – but one just leverages the other, without any trouble with sign-ups or whatever.
