Problem with commenting in popup

Clicking ‘Comment’ button below any answer shows a popup for comment, while everything in background becomes shaded and non-scrollable — this is a problem (especially on small mobile screens), because a user may need to scroll back for reminding or quoting something from the conversation.
I suggest to make an option to load an inline comment form right instead of the ‘Comment’ button when it’s clicked, or show a floating comment form attached to the bottom of the screen, while keeping page content scrollable.

You’ve identified a real UX pain point: modal popups lock the background, which makes quoting or referencing earlier content awkward on small screens. A good alternative would AccuLynx be to replace the popup with an inline comment form that expands directly under the answer when “Comment” is clicked, or a floating form docked at the bottom of the viewport. Both approaches keep the page scrollable, so users can move around freely while drafting. This way, you preserve focus on the comment while maintaining access to the conversation context — a smoother experience, especially on mobile.
