Please make sure “fuzzy” or “need work” is not checked while editing translation.

They aren’t “fuzzy” or “need work”. I’m use bot .pot file and search in the source codes but also this problem not solved.

Hi all!
I just digged (again!) in the translation process. I don’t know if it will be the case for you guys but the French .po file was not up to date, so I had to start again from the original .pot file. That solved quite a few strings being translated in the file but not appearing in the frontend. 😉
@Rahul : so we don’t use Translate WordPress anymore? Aargh! I feel like I keep translating those strings!! T_T

Hey Fred,
Yes we use WordPress translation. po and mo files are there for compatibility reason. In future version I will remove all po and mo completely from stable release.

Ok! But then I don’t get it: the plugin is primarily loading the translation from WP translation or the “local” .mo files?

It gives priority to AnsPress languages directory. If translation do not exists in languages dir then loaded from WP core dir.

Good to know, thanks! I’ll try to work on the WP Translate version then. 😉

Thanks Fred, Lemme know when you need me.

It’s not about the fuzzy. Our perfect coder@rahularyan forgot to add some parts to the pot file so it can not be edited.

@Raul Aryan, it doesn’t say fuzzy or need work. I just managed to do some translations directly into the code, but there are a couple of them I can’t find anywhere.

Did you tried updating your .po file from .pot file?

It’s a common problem for everyone but there is no solver.

Same here I’m using the es_ES translation but some words translated in the files won’t change in the front end such as “Votes”, “Ago”, “Add a Comment”, among others.
