Shortcode change on the latest update
Please check if that page is selected as base page.
Try updating AnsPress option once.
although anspress shortcode will work everywhere, even in home page. shortcode will not work only if plugin is not active.

Just remove all widget from ap-sidebar and it will be vanished.

Legend. Got it! Is there a widget area to add a sidebar for the ask page?
Yeah weird it must have deactivated. Only other change is now there is a sidebar on my main question page that I can’t seem to change through my theme.
