Problems with Anspress version 2.3.3 and 2.3.4

Problem started when I upgraded to Anspress 2.3.3. If I click on any question or want to post a new question CPU and memory utilization on the server increases significantly and the website is becoming unresponsive for few minutes. I upgraded to v 2.3.4 today, same problem exists. I did not have the copy of 2.3.2 version where the problem was not present. I do not see this problem after I downgraded to v2.2.0.2.  Can you please look into this problem? Thanks in advance.

Note: Yesterday I upgraded both WordPress to version 4.2.3 and Anspress to version 2.3.3. I am not sure whether the problem is for this combination. But I installed Anspress v2.2.0.2 on WordPress v4.2.3 and do not see this problem.
