Great Plugin! However, I cannot get to the Questions Page. When I click “ask a question” I get a 404 Page Not Found ERROR on this page: http://redwhiteandbulldogs.com/questions/Ask%20question/

Please help.

Hello Dan,

@itomhq is right. You still have space in ask question slug. Also question slug was conflicting with base page slug. I fixed it and your site looks fine now.

Thanks to you both! I love this plugin and the free support, but your hard work is definitely worth something to me. How can I donate to this plugin!

Hi Dan. Not sure there’s a link on this site. Perhaps @Rahul can answer this one. As for the support – you’re more than welcome.

I hate to say it, but I found each of the questions were getting 404 ERRORs due to the slug being changed. I had to switch the page slug back to questionS instead of question to stop the errors. Unfortunately, this has caused the answers page to stop working again and revert to a page not found screen. What can I do?

Did not I fixed it last time in your site? You are using same slug for base page and single question hence it is giving 404.

If you need extended support let me know by email.

Ok. It’s fine now. You did fix it before, but when you changed the slug, the visitors were getting a different url than what google previously indexed so I had no choice but to go back to the original because I didn’t want to redirect every question. However, this evening, I noticed I was getting 404s again for those questions because in the meantime google had re-indexed the new urls to avoid the 404. Some back and forth here, but I did get it all back in order today. I should have just kept it where you put it. Thanks, Rahul.

Dan – as far as I can see, you still have a space in your ask question slug:

Do you use any caching software ? If so, try emptying the cache to see if this helps.

Thank you. I removed the space, but no luck there. I’ve downloaded the latest version from you, but how do I install it on my site without removing the old version and possibly losing my old anspress questions and answers?

hello, simply replace old AnsPress with newly downloaded one. No data will be deleted.

I created a temporary admin user account for you. Would you please try to get the plugin working correctly on my site http://www.redwhiteandbulldogs.com/wp-admin

The problem I’m still having are that the Ask Question page is not found.

I uploaded and activated the new version but I got a fatal error and it said it would not activate the plugin due to the error.
