I can’t remove widgets
Hi there,
I’m having a weird behaviour with the widget sidebar.
I have created a custom sidebar with the shortcodes of anspress and i place it in the question page via shortcode with visual composer.
I then go to anspress options and click on deactive sidebar for questions (because i have my own sidebar). I hit click so the button is no active, i save it, and then it appears again, so basically i can’t remove the sidebar included in anspress.
In my first picture you can see what i have in the question list page, and then when you hit on a question you’ll see what i mean.
This NOT a widget. The sidebar is build in.
There is a bug in v3.0.1 (posted here by me) that doesn’t actually disable this sidebar stats. I hope it will be fixed, since it is messing my theme.
I keep having the problem. I can’t uncheck the tick, but there’s no new available version to download after 3.01

Yes, just delete the tests folder. AND just in case BACKUP first.
After ftp-ing the files of the plugin, Disable the plugin and enable it.
Thanks. I’ve followed the instructions and i’d been now able to remove the sidebar stats. However, by some reason, the sidebar removes my footer, with all their widgets and structure. I don’t know if you might have an idea of why. I really appreciate your help 🙂
May be missing html markup.

I asked my theme support to know why anspress removes the footer and they said this:
“It’s because of this shortcode: [anspress]
It probably put a close div in the content and that is causing this issue. Please make sure the plugin you are using for this short code is not having these kind of problems.”
Any idea of why the plugin interferes with the footer?
for further info. This is my widget configuration. as you can see breadcrumbs should be in first position in both question list page and question page. but i keep having the follower and stats wdgets even thought i did not include them.
any help will be great!
