Latest version of everything (even tried with Anspress from Github) and tags/category plugins.

Apparent plugin conflict with Buddypress v.2.2.3.1 gives the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_activity_do_mentions() in /root-to…/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-activity/bp-activity-filters.php on line 230

Deactivate Buddypress and everything works fine, so appears to be that a conflict has crept in. Anspress 2.1.6 worked fine.

I’m sure you have a fix as you are on top of this development, great work!

Pushed a commit to github, it may solve your issue. try and let me know.

Meantime I did some more debugging and see it is a conflict with “Yoast WordPress SEO” — perhaps the way it modifies something. I’ll test some more or you may want to do a default install of that, which is also a VERY popular SEO plugin.

I did one more commit for BP fix. check it first and confirm it solve your issues. Sure list all Yoast related issue as a different question, I will ix that in 2.3 (current major dev version)

The fix did not work with the Yoast conflict. I have also tried to adjust settings in Yoast/permalinks etc but to no avail – error always present. Thanks for looking in to it and hoping you’ll find the fix for the magic combination of Yoast/Anspress/Buddypress! Thanks.

My last commit was for BuddyPress not yoast. Create a new question with all yoast issue
