AnsPress and UserPro slug issue

I would like to use the UserPro plugin to handle all my user registration and profile related pages.

In my WordPress Dashboard I go to AnsPress -> Options -> Users and set the “User Profile” setting to “User Pro”. However, after I do this all profile related pages show up blank with the “Question and answer is powered by AnsPress” message at the bottom.

Am I missing something here or is this functionality not yet working?

EDIT: I found out that the reason for my issue was that my profile page slug in UserPro was set to “user”, which is the same as the slug that is used by AnsPress. For now I have changed the UserPro slug to “profile” and this causes the other pages to display correctly. However, I very much prefer to use the “user” slug for UserPro, so hopefully the developer of AnsPress can fix this.

Also, when I now manually browse to “mysite.com/user/Admin” it still displays the blank page with the “Question and answer is powered by AnsPress” message at the bottom. It seems like this page is not deleted or upon changing the “User Profile” setting to “User Pro” which is a bit odd and that is probably causing the issue with the slugs in the first place.

EDIT 2: After doing some more troubleshooting I found the setting to change the slug in AnsPress. So what I did was change the AnsPress slug to “userans” and changed my UserPro slug to “user”. Everything is now working how I wanted it. But there is still the issue of the “mysite.com/usersans/Admin” pages displaying a real page instead of a 404.

Update your permalinks and then try again.
