Added code to remove link to profile… but…
I added the code to disable link to anspress profiles. However, the user pic and username are still clickable links, so when clicked on, they go to error page (404). Any way to disable the link function completely?
Ideally, linking to existing profiles would be great (I use Ultimate Member plugin profiles).
Did you also added filter to override default AnsPress link ?

Same here, it didn’t work on v3.0. I would like to turn off user links on names and avatars. Since I do not use profiles when I click on such a link, I get a 404 page.
In my opinion disabling profiles in the admin settings should also disable profile links. Otherwise it lacks consistency and the links just send to 404 page which is confusing for the users.
Thanks. I tried this, and it still shows me the anspress profile if I add the lines after the _return false line. Apparently it doesn’t work with UltimateMember profiles. Only the first line works to stop the anspress profiles, it just doesn’t stop the links. Thank you anyway.
