Hi there,

Let me start by saying I love your work! It’s amazing that you can do all of this for free! I do however have some features I would love to have implemented into the software:

  • reCaptacha only for non-registered users
  • RSS feed with all the Questions
  • ‘Subscribe and stats widget’ to be used as a real widget (for in my side menu)
  • Options for question/answer import from RSS/file. (I have an old site -running QAEngine- that people keep posting questions on)
  • Better SEO integration; can’t get my titles to work with Yoast SEO.
  • Tags option while asking question has some Ajax, CSS problems

Sorry about the list… I will make a donation for all your work (regardless of you answer to my request, of course 😉 )

@Davi, Here is the filter for enabling editor toggle:

https://gist.github.com/rahularyan/19f7cf772a5040de8232

For allowing users to insert codes, you can install https://wordpress.org/plugins/crayon-syntax-highlighter/

I try but does not work, Please show me a print. Where should I include the apply_filters command …

Hello Pepio,

  • You will be able to control recaptcha by reputation, like user can bypass recaptcha if they have earned defined amount of reputations.
  • Working on it.
  • I think they are real widget 😀 you can use it on questions page.
  • Not sure about this option yet. But AnsPress uses CPT so there are lots of importer for WordPress already.
  • yes there is problem with Yoast, will try to fix that.
  • Tags system will be improved (already in my task list), also better suggestion and tags listing page.

Its ok. Suggest/request any feature you want, we will surely include it if that makes AnsPress awesome.

Thanks for your fast answer! I just have one more (sorry :P); The email sending on a new commend should be in HTML. For the other answers:

– Thats great, thank you very much!
– Also great 😀
– I mean a widget you can use on the Appearance -> Widget page (/wp-admin/widgets.php). You have the Stats and Subscribe widget there, that is true but those don’t have the same (great) layout as the widget has when enabled on the layout settings. They also don’t have an option to just show them on the Question page.
– Yes I know about that but I have looked into this and I couldn’t find any plugin who could post an RSS feed to CPT. I you know one, I would love to hear :).
– Thanks! But please take you time, no rush 🙂
– And great again ^.^

I will start work on HTML email soon. I am working on a realtime notification extension, after that we I will improve email extension.

Great! Thanks 🙂
