Can I use UserPro login system, with Anspress Profile active?
Hi, Ive been looking for a good register/login plugin, which also has a terms checkbox and mailchimp integration. I have found that UserPro gives me all of these, so I would like to go ahead with it.
But I want to use it with the Anspress Profile system, and disable the UserPro profile.
Is this possible?
You can always edit the users pages. I have the userPro and Anspress mixed like this:
I have in the top menu the links to login/register with userpro.
But if you edit the pages, remember that you will lose your changes if you update the plugin.

How is userpro working with your anpress? Thinking about going that route myself
I haven’t launched yet, but it seems to be working well based on testing. Though I think UserPro has slowed down my site a little, probably because of the large number of features. Anspress makes it easy to switch the entire profile system to userpro. Just have to select it in the anspress settings. Im quite happy with this setup so far.

I wanted a simple profile setup for now. Userpro gave me that, plus the ability to add more features in the future. Works great. Exactly what I wanted. Comes with shortcodes with which I could build pages and widgets as well.
thanks for the response but userpro does not give the live notifications option in the menu. Were you able to get that to work? Also, are your profiles showing the stats with userpro? I couldn’t get any of that to show either….
Sorry for the late reply. I don’t think Im the right person to ask these questions to 🙂 Reason being, I wanted a very basic profile page, with a good login/register shortcode system. Thats it. I am not using Anspress notifications, and no, the profile stats don’t show up in Userpro by default.
I would like to recommand TML plaugin if you just want custom login/register page.
I tried TML, its good, but it does not have a terms checkbox, mailchimp integration, and social connect. I will need to add other plugins if I need these features. But UserPro gives me all of this and more.
