hidding the toolbar
Hello, aoon.
You can do it with either CSS or snippet similar to this.
There is also an option in AnsPress to change default editor, but afaik it would just replace this buttons with other buttons.
My snippet I wrote does exactly what you want: “completely remove insert link icons”. Take a look at the result here http://dima.stefantsov.com/qa/ask/
Problem is it will only hide it from regular users. Hackers would still be able to query it (I’ll write query tool myself if it won’t be fixed) and get secret info, that could potentially compromise site integrity.
That must be fixed on a level of user’s permissions: “do not allow to get a list of all pages’.
@Rahul promised he will look into it. It’s not like it’s really urgent, but it would be nice to be fixed in next few months.
@Dima…yea..that’s still the point! Regular users won’t find out, but the web is not only full of ‘regular’ users, but of ‘witches and wizards’ and anything can happen…harry porter! @Rahul…please put your skill to work once again, and get this stuff out!!! Thanks.
Indeed, this is a problem! This is a drawback! @Rahul, isn’t there a way to completely remove the ‘insert link’ icons to stop this? Thanks
