How to Creating custom animation effect on AnsPress plugin?

Hello,
I am using AnsPress plugin on my website. I am in the process of adding custom animation effect to it. This animation effect will shake the Up vote and Down vote buttons when the mouse is placed on them. I am following jQuery animate method to do this effect, but I am quite confuse. Can you please help me by guiding which plugin files are responsible for this.
