In latest 2.4.1 version, the SORT and SEARCH functions do not work
I can confirm sorting works in 2.4.1
Both in list of questions, and in question itself.
Search works as well.

OK, so what is likely to be the problem? Some setting or variable? Running WordPress 4.3.1

Look your front-end JS errors.
Uninstall anspress and install it again.
Disable all other plugins.
Change theme.
Change browser.
