I cannot get initials to display on the avatar

I’ve enabled the dyanic avatar plugin. However all avatars still show the mystery person. I’ve googled and can’t find anything. I”m sure I”m just missing something. Any feedback on how to fix. Thanks in advance!

Please check if you can see avatar inside of wp-content/uploads/ap_avatar
If no then create that directory and add write persmisison
