Why does it take me to a 404 page when I click Ask question?
Just installed. Figured out how to get a question asked by going through the admin section but when I click Ask question I just get a 404 page. Same thing when I try to view the question I wrote, just another 404 page but it increases the view…
For some reason if I change the “Questions page” setting back to “Questions” everything works fine, but I want the questions page to be the home page instead.

Simply create another page with shortcode [anspress] and set it as home page.

Ahh, I didn’t know that I could do that (I haven’t used WordPress in about 10 years). This solved my problem. Thank you!
I’d like it as my home page but is that really not possible? I have searched the FAQ as you suggest and the getting started and installation information and I can’t find anything that says this isn’t possible so I just assumed I messed something else up.
