Why can’t I answer questions?

I installed the plugin today and asked a question to test it out, and it doesn’t give me the option to answer it. I’ve tried it both signed in and out of my account. I allow anonymous answers, default label is “open”. I think I left all the default settings.

I run a wordpress site and use the qtranslate multilingual plugin.
