Where to put the translation file?

I’ve searched the questions here, and tried all I could, but I can’t seem to change language for the AnsPress plugin.

I tried renaming the French translation into ap-de_DE.po but even then, everything is still in English.

Any help appreciated…

Just renaming will never work.

Use poedit.net tool to edit ap.pot and then save as ap-fr_FR.po and p-fr_FR.mo.

He should save it as ap-de_DE.po if he wants to translate it into german 😉
