What is the best way to remove the Powered by WordPress and AnsPress / Crafted with ❤ by Rahul Aryan & Team / AskBug support forum footer links in a child theme. It does not work to check the box to remove credits.

Which version are you using?

I can confirm the “Hide author credits” works fine with AnsPress 2.4.4 and AskBug 1.8

Hi,
I am using the same versions and the tick for author credentials are ticked by default. There is no change in the footer if untick and tick.

Have you tried clearing any caching and your browser’s cache too?
