Original poster’s name is changing during moderation flow

Consider the following scenario.

User X posts a question. The AnsPress setting is for moderation (rather than immediate publishing). Now the moderator Y views the question and publishes it ***without any edits***. However, the post gets tagged as “edited by Y” (the moderator). Consequently the name of the original poster (X) disappears from the posting.

Is there any way in which during the moderation process, the original name of the poster (X) can be retained / displayed rather than the “edited by moderator (Y)” comment?
