My Ask Page is Blank. Did I misconfigure something?
I’m new to AnsPress and just now have tested what I’ve built. My Ask page is blank. If I go to my base page http://parsecenergy.com/forum/ and log in and try to ask, the page spins for a bit and then winds up being blank (other than the header from the theme I’m using). What did I do wrong?
I’ve already checked for conflicting plugins, deleting everything but AnsPress plugins and it did not change the result.

There is a simple fix for this issue. Go to
AnsPress options -> general
And check if AnsPress base page is selected for how to answer option. If so chnage page and save. Or else you can update from github repo, I already pushed fix.
Just to follow up on this, after upgrading PHP to 5.6 and ensuring all other modules were up to date on the server side, I reinstalled Anspress in the hopes of getting it to work. The Ask page was still blank.
I then set up a subdomain and installed WordPress and then Anspress. The Ask page was still there.
I then installed the theme and the page remained.
I went back to my primary domain, uninstalled the theme and all the plugins it installed with it originally, installed and set up Anspress, then resinstalled the theme and all the plugins. When I was done, the page remained.
My guess as to the root issue here is perhaps an older version of something (can’t imagine what) in Anspress that can handle be overwritten with a newer or different version in the theme, but that won’t work if the theme’s newer/different version is in place first.
Whatever it is, it’s complex and resolvable through this process.
Now to figure out why my registration emails don’t have passwords… (probably not an Anspress issue).
