Modification Questions/ some issues
Hello, I have a few questions that I need help on.
1. The plugin doesn’t seem to be connecting to the logged in functionally of my word press site. When I go to “ask a question” it makes me relog back in, but then just takes me back to the same and I can’t ask a question. This is only happening when I am sign in a regular member. When I am signed in as admin, I am able to do this.
2. Can you import old questions into the plugin? We are switching our current site over to word press and will be using the AnsPress plugin and we want to have the archive of questions from the old platform on the new site. Is this possible?
3. Because I am unable to ask a question as a regular member, I want to make sure that there is no “Rich text” formatting and the question can be asked with simple text.
4. Is there a way to remove the “Reputation” feature? We will not be needing this.
5. I know we can moderate the questions, but we want to be able to moderate the comments too. I’m not seeing a place to set this. Can you please direct me?
6. When I go to “New Questions” on the dashboard of Word Press, it’s almost as if the page times out and I am unable to gain access to it.

1. I think you have toggle an option in permission tab, which only allow admin to answer.
2. Login is not controlled by AnsPress, so its usual.
3. Is there anything wrong ? also login redirect is not controlled by AnsPress.

What do you mean “hire someone to import data� We have developers working on the site, but is there a specific program they need to be using to import the data?
— There is no automated script or software for that, you developer need to figued it out. But it is very easy, just import old Q&A as a wordpress posts.
When is the next release/ when will I be able to have reputation removed?
— You can remove it now, check latest release in github. In users tab you can toggle an option to disable it.
#6 Kindly post the error log, I cannot figure it out using screenshot.
#1 Why is it is usual to NOT be able to post a question? Because I am logged in on the word press site, I should be able to post but I’m not able to. Your answer is not helpful.
#6 There is no error log occurring, it just brings me to that white screen when I click New Question in the dashboard.
