Lost avatars after site migration
I recently moved my site to a new domain.
Everything worked well with regards Anspress except anyone who uploaded an individual picture for their avatar has now lost this. Instead it shows the default anspress avatars.
Any guidance on restoring this would be very appreciated!
ps I can still see the old avatar images on the new site, at for example:
http://www.mynewsite.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/98caf928e657eae9ff943e6c24038f0d.jpg
Everything was moved by the hosting company from domain X to domain y… so yes teh same version of AnsPress. A couple of other images on the site needed to be adjusted where the url was hard wired in…
I think user meta ids are not updated properly. Please verify ‘_ap_avatar’ user meta have proper user ids.
Thanks Rahul for investigating this. I’m afriad I don’t know how to verify ‘_ap_avatar’ user meta have proper user ids.
Here is an example from the site of a user who used to have their photo as avatar (which has now not showing up)… Link_http://www.helpontap.org/user/CarolineW/
Get current user ID or CarolineW and open PHPmyAdmin. find wp_usermeta table for key _ap_avatar for user ID. If you dont find any record then migration went wrong.
Hello,
Do you have same version of AnsPress installed on both site?
