Incompatible with markdown editors?

I’m trying to change the editor to markdown, but using any of

• https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-markdown-editor/
• https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack-markdown/
• https://wordpress.org/plugins/typewriter

The html conversion doesn’t happen.

With the Jetpack-Markdown plugin, it looks right in the visual editor, but the markup is stripped when the post is published.

I’ve got it working half way. I added support for ‘wpcom-markdown’ in the support arg array in post_types.php, which makes ## work, but linking []() isn’t working.
