hi there.
i am trying to edit the anspress plugin so that the categories display on the main q&a page, so that my viewers don’t have to go to a separate page to see them.

can someone please tell me how i can achieve this?

hey, thanks to your reply i was able to move the categories into the correct position on my page.

my goal for moving them here is to customise the look so the categories are clickable images instead of text in a bullet-point list.

if i should not be editing the core plugin files can you tell me how i can achieve this?

Buddy Do not edit core plugins files.
Simply drag AP Categories widget at AP Top position.
