Change default cover photos

I’ve gone to the plugins theme file default/images in my cpanel and uploaded new images and renamed them to cover.jog and smal_cover.jpg. Refreshed the profile page and it still shows the Anspress logo.

( /public_html/wp-content/plugins/anspress-question-answer/theme/default/images/small_cover.jpg)

I also tried creating a “Anspress” folder in my site’s theme file with the two images, as suggested on another question.

File path must be:

YOUR_THEME/anspress/images/

Then copy cover.jpg and small_cover.jpg

Doesn’t stay like all the other settings when plugin is deleted and re-added.

Of course it stays after update/uninstall/reinstall etc. because it’s in your theme folder. And wordpress does not touch your theme folder, when a plugin is uninstalled

There should be an option in settings, to change the default cover or option to have no cover photo. It will be very helpful.

This file should show up in admin editor. Seems I can only access it in cpanel.

You can access it via ftp

Created an anspress folder in my child theme, added the two covers with the correct names , still shows anspress cover. Emptied cache. This folder doesn’t show in my admin’s theme editor, only cpanel btw.

A day later , it still shows the default cover. I even tested with a new user.
