Rahul, please google

ANSPRESS_TITLE

and see tones of the problem. It seems to be some problem with the skin (show ANSPRESS_TITLE in the header), sincw with the default skin it doesn’t show. But googling for it, if found many-many sites with that problem, so many skins have it.

Please spend some time to find a workaround.

Thanks

I guess the problem is, that they all used anspress. Anspress creates a new page with “ANPRES_TITLE” as page title and then replaces this title later on. On all found pages, anspress is disabled (because [anspress] is not replaced by the content). So thats the problem.

Yes I agree with joker. Are you using any SEO plugin? try disabling them. and let us know.

No some are left-overs but most are active:

http://zbulo.org/anspress_title/
http://dish.allrecipes.com/anspress_title/

and tones of others. Please do not downplay this.

I use NO seo plugin. Guys, just Google ANSRESS_TITLE, there are TONES of this problem. Read my initial post, it is a problem of most skins BUT it is impossible to fix all those skins. It it better to have a work-around in Anspress. Rahul proposed to leave the Title Blank and this works 50% since it leaves the Meta Title half (after the | it is blank).

This has been fixed. download from here: https://github.com/anspress/anspress/archive/master.zip

I was about to create one more “anspress_title” topic, because it wasn’t working for me. Had to look into sources to find the issue.

I downloaded from github, but then I took what was in “build” folder, and used those. Files dates looked good. Turns out you didn’t `grunt compress` that before commiting. That is understandable. You may want to .gitignore /build to avoid confusion.
