AnsPress User Registration not working.
I have set up anspress on WordPress 4.0.1.
Everything works except for the user registration.
When a user fills out the registration it says it’s sending but no user is actually created and no login occurs.
How do we set it up so that other users can sign up and use the forum?

Hi Rahul, can you point me in the right direction (file name) where to patch the issue by myself until you release the next version? I need to maintain the plugin operational until the next update. By the way, your plugin is the most robust and best designed I have seen. I will buy a paid version for sure if you launch one.
Use theme my login plugin for registration & login & disable anspress signup & login from options page.
Hello, thank you for the advise. This is workable, though one does not return to the question one was answering, so typed answer will be lost… Guess we need ajax registration for that just like the login, which seems to work properly.
Anonymous answering is not possible using this plugin. In theme my login you can set custom url redirection to previous page so that the typed question will not get lost.So enable redirection in theme my login settings.
Hello, I seen the issue too.
Let me fix it.
Hi, can you indicate if this is a major issue to fix?
Can you provide a patch?
Thanks!
There is some massive change in AnsPress for upcoming version, so I cannot provide the patch at the moment. Kindly wait until 1st January. Thanks
Hi Rahul,
I’ve just installed your plugin and am a big fan already:)
How do I get the login/register like on this page? In de released version it’s redirecting me to a default WP register page. Upon completion, it redirects a subscriber to a blank page on http://we-vibe.eu/wp-admin/profile.php instead of the Anspress page one was.
P.S. I’ve just registering here on wp3.in doesn’t work: emails are not being delivered. Signing up using Facebook does work, but redirects to the homepage. Any ideas on how to fix it so that a person is redirected back to the page one was?
Thanks!
Are you using AnsPress 1.4.3?
