AnsPress 2.2 Plugin Update

Hey,

I updated my AnsPress Plugin to version 2.2.0.2, but when I activate it, the look of the user profiles and Questions/answers pages do not change when compared to the “screenshots” in the “view details” section of the 2.2 plugin. Just wondering how I can get it to look like the screenshots. Thanks (PS- I do not have a tech background and do not know how to code)

Hi I also tried deleting and re-installing AnsPress Plugin and it now gives me a 500 – Internal server error on my homepage. When I deactivate my AnsPress Plugin, the error goes away. Appreciate your help!

Actually, resolved the internal error above. But just wondering if I can add ultimate member plugin (with profiles) to AnsPress Q&A platform?

I have used AnswerBox screenshot in my site, only front page and user page is different. Even this site uses default AnsPress theme without any customizations.

ok thanks, i have tried to disable the AnsPress profile and it sill doesn’t solve the problem. Maybe Ultimate member profile page is just not easily compatible with AnsPress. Anything else you suggest I try? Thanks!

You can see in 2.3 roadmap, profile will be improved in upcoming version.

Hi, I purchased Answerbox theme, but when I upload and go to my site, it says “internal error 500”. Might be happening because of widgets, since on my previous theme I tried adding custom AnsPress widgets and my site crashed. When I deleted the widgets, my site was back to normal. Appreciate your input since I did purchase the Answerbox theme hoping to use it. Thanks!

Mukund, did you installed BuddyPress before installing AnswerBox ?

Yes i did. Still gives me internal error when i try to go to my site. Both AnsPress And BuddyPress are installed.
