Very serious issue with upgrade to v4.1.9 Multiple emails being sent out to everyone
Today I updated from 4.1.7 to 4.1.9
I then proceeded to do a recount because the count was messed up from some issues that were in 4.1.7
Then some people started emailing me, people that asked a question in Anspress in the past. They forwarded copies of the emails, they said they received multiple ones today.
The contents of the email were:

Also there was some random email address there from one of my users.
PLEASE make sure the ONLY time and email is EVER sent is when the action happens. No emails on updates, recounts, enabling or disabling, etc.
I’ll weather this storm, but will have some upset folks, and rightly so.
For now, I disabled the email add-on.
Sadly I have had it with AnsPress. This email issue and lots of other issues just make it not something that can be relied upon. I wish you the best, but I am jumping off this ship effective immediately.

I tried to replicate your issue but I never receive any email on doing any types of recount. And I am sure recount does not initiate any emails. Can you help me to replicate this issue.

This count issue seems to be related with Redis cache. Which is already in my roadmap. I am checking email issue.

We are also having the same issue, people who are no longer subscribers are getting an email notification every time we answered questions. It has resulted in our IP being blocked. I have turned off the plugin for now but would appreciate some help
Sorry to see you go. But I am unable to replicate your issue. I am using same version every where. If you can let me access your site, i could have figured it out.
