TinyMCE Editor missing from v2

I have been going under the assumption that wp3.in is running v2, I guess not. There are some things I really like about what I see on your site, the first is the clean theme and the second is the simplicity of the text editor.

However, in v2 what I get is an ugly bulky editor which doe not allow me to add images to a question as easily as I do on this site.

The editors load and shows well for me. Are you sure you have Enabled it in Anspress options ?

I went through the options page and every tab and there is no option for tiny mce. The text editor option does nothing, checked or unchecked there is no difference.

There’s no tinymce either, I seem to have something called *composer* instead of tinymce. Are you running v2.0.0 stable?

I think you are confused. The second capture you post above IS TinyMCE. So what you see IS actually TinyMCE.

I want the TOP editor, but what I get is the lower one. The one THIS site uses is the editor in the TOP shot. So yes, maybe I got things backward but our preference is to have the TOP editor, does it exist in V2?

Well most people will want the friendly TinyMCE and not a cryptic one. Still that selection IS available in Anspress but from what i see it doesn’t work (selecting text editor doesn’t make ANY difference).

We definitely like the older one. At least now I know it’s not just me that sees no difference when this option is toggled on/off. Thank you for the confirmation.

Guys dont be panic 😀

actually the editor you are seeing is called TinyMce 😀 and you wanted the text editor, so here is an option to enable it:

Same for the answer.

If the solution is in the image I don’t see the image… 😛

Sorry, no pannic or rush. I just like confirming bugs rather than silently suffering alone never knowing if something should be working or not. AnsPress has a lot of potential.

The image you posted throws the following error:

Updated the image 🙂

Yes, I tried that checkbox and it does nothing.
