Anspress 2 user interface
I have something the puzzles me about Anspress user interface. I find myself here to mix Comments with Answers when replying. So far i have deleted some replies of mine and make them comments, since i wanted to Comment and now to give an Answer.
So i think somehow this must me improved VISUALLY. Completely separate it. Not sure how.

I am sure this does not happen with 2.0
For solving the confusion there are already two option in anspress,
– Dont allow OP to answer his question (OP can only comment)
– Do not allow multiple questions (so once they have answered, they can do comments and editing only)

Stackoverflow has a very clear separation between ANSWER and the question — I think this is part of the confusion I see here. I feel like I must use the ANSWER field instead of clicking the comment link. Perhaps I can completely remove the ANSWER THIS button from the template and solve the issue that way.
Comments are for discussing about about question and answer, and answer is reply of a question.
for example:
Question
| |_______ Comment on question, comment is not an answer but chatting about question
|
|
Answer - this is an actual answer for the question.
|
|_______ Comment on answer is also a discussion on answerHope you got it now.

The problem is that the UI allows for confusion. Yes, after you play with it for a long time you learn to use it that way, but as a new user to this plugin I am always using the ANSWER field because it’s always visible so I use it. I even catch myself using it after I hit the comment link because it’s a bigger target.
I think you should consider only displaying the ANSWER field when the person clicks on the “Answer This” link. By default it should not be visible.
