Users are unable to edit their answers at front end ?
dear@rahul , i have the same problem. i am using version 3.0.7 and a user is unable to edit his own answer with the same error. btw.. i don´t understand the role concept here. wordpress has roles, anspress has roles, how do they interact with each other ?? for example, there exists a german role “Autor” in wordpress and a english role “Author” in anspress, do they have anything todo with each other ? thanks a lot !
Dear @rahul sorry for asking this, but in fact I don’t know exactly what you mean. As mentioned in my example, I have roles in WordPress and also roles in anspress and both have nothing to do with each other, I see author at anspress and Autor in WordPress, and giving author rights to edit answers, does not give “Autor” (in WordPress) give rights to edit. Shouldn’t I see the same roles in anspress, that exists in WordPress? I guess this is the part, that confuses me here.
Hello Michael, AnsPress have its own sets of roles and capabilities. If your user have any their party role then make sure you merge basic capabilities of AnsPress to that role. You can do this from AnsPress options.
