Answer shows even when set to private
When a user sets his answer to Private on a public question, the answer is still visible when logged out. The answer as well as the text that the answer is marked as private are visible. If the question is set to Private, it is not visible when logged out. Am I doing something wrong?
I use 2.4.8, together with Divi (had to change custom.js to make commenting work). I also use AnsPress Email and Question labels. I am allowing users to publish private posts and answers.
In 2.4.8 there were many role related changes. Make sure you updated all files including theme override.
This version is my very first and completely fresh install. I haven’t used an older version. But if neccessary, I will install the most recent files tonight and test again!

I completely removed the plugin files after deactivating Anspress and uploaded the files I have downloaded from this site. After that I turned the option for private questions and answers off and on. No luck at all
Any progress?
I have installed a new theme: no change. Other plugins: WP User Manager, Crayon Syntax Highlighter. Deactivating them: no change. What are the basic settings to make this work as it should?
This should not happen. But I cannot see this issue with any version. Are you using paid membership plugin and is it updated?
