Anspress V 4.1.7 on WordPress 4.9.4

Dashboard>AnsPress>AnsPress Feed

Below the feed I am getting this:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method WP_Error::get_item_quantity() in /homepages/6/d726008395/htdocs/clickandbuilds/The82ndAirborneClan/wp-content/plugins/anspress-question-answer/admin/views/dashboard.php:298 Stack trace: #0 /homepages/6/d726008395/htdocs/clickandbuilds/The82ndAirborneClan/wp-admin/includes/template.php(1063): AnsPress_Dashboard::anspress_feed(”, Array) #1 /homepages/6/d726008395/htdocs/clickandbuilds/The82ndAirborneClan/wp-content/plugins/anspress-question-answer/admin/views/dashboard.php(396): do_meta_boxes(Object(WP_Screen), ‘column1’, ”) #2 /homepages/6/d726008395/htdocs/clickandbuilds/The82ndAirborneClan/wp-content/plugins/anspress-question-answer/admin/anspress-admin.php(292): include_once(‘/homepages/6/d7…’) #3 /homepages/6/d726008395/htdocs/clickandbuilds/The82ndAirborneClan/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): AnsPress_Admin::dashboard_page(”) #4 /homepages/6/d726008395/htdocs/clickandbuilds/The82ndAirborneClan/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(”, A in /homepages/6/d726008395/htdocs/clickandbuilds/The82ndAirborneClan/wp-content/plugins/anspress-question-answer/admin/views/dashboard.php on line 298

I tried reverting to many different previous backups…error always shows up.  I migrated the entire site and database from a test domain that did not show this error…error still shows up.  I tried deleting the database and other options in AnsPress Tools, deactivating then deleting AnsPress…error shows up on fresh install of anspress.  I tried turning off all plugins.  I can’t figure this out.

Other than the feed error, everything appears to be functioning properly.  Please advise.

Hello,

Thanks for reporting. This issue issue is happening due to our server. Recently there was a DDOS attack and I have to disable all direct access to site.

Please comment out the line for now and I will remove our feed widget from dashboard from next release.

Already got fixed here: https://github.com/anspress/anspress/issues/429
