We are already thinking on this functionality. This functionality can be used easily if you have dedicated mail server. But most of user uses shared hosting so this functionality may kill their site because they have limited resource. Just for example, If 100 people follow a user and every time user post a question or answer then 100 email is sent. You can think how much load it will give to server. Currently its only possible by using paid mail services like Mailgun, mailchimp etc.. (We prefer mailgun because of their free tier). We are thinking about sending digest email to users at specific interval. But still its cannot be used with shared hosting.

Hello VISR, Its hidden because you are currently logged in. If you want to show show dropdown for logged in user then please go to appearance and add user profile and user notification link from AnsPress section to your menu.

AnsPress is not theme, its plugin.

Currently only image format (jpg, png, gif) are only allowed. You can extend it easily using custom code.

Yes it not in our site but of course that exists in AnsPress core.

Yep you can, but you have to get paid membership extension for AnsPress. Using that extension you can limit category access.
