We have tested this function with socketIO and works very well. There are few tutorials on google which shows how to use socketIO with WordPress.

Fix error in what ? Please post your version of Anspress. Also try to SAVE your permalinks in WP Dashboard once and try again.   (i see localhost, so not sure this is an Anspress problem)

Also make sure you have given proper user capabilities to current user role. check AnsPress Options -> roles
