i had the same issue. buddypress avatar overwrite anspress avatar functionality. so if you upload avatar from buddypress profile, then your avatar would display in anspress.

would the shortcode available in the coming release?

if you see "comment" link, that means its already turned on. refresh your page and try again? do you see any javascript error? try to disable other plugins?

i am working on the "zh-CH" translation. (havent worked on it lately) frontend user-facing text is 90% done. admin backend text is about 40% completion. if you want to use my translation file as starting...

i dont think the current version supports it. you can install myCred plugin, hook up with anspress reputation meta key - "ap-reputation" i think, then you can add/delete anspress reputation from myCred.

congrats and thanks for the great work!   as for the @mention, i would suggeat to test this new feature with buddypress on, as buddypress also have @mention, and it works in anspress post and comment....
