I had the same issue before. i have updated my question and put working code there. for some reason, you cant call the same function in after new question hook and after update question hook.

i had the same issue. buddypress avatar overwrite anspress avatar functionality. so if you upload avatar from buddypress profile, then your avatar would display in anspress.

@Rahul, suggestion, can have some error checking to improve this. if backend return non-200 status, then show error message, stop spinner, instead of spinner hanging there.
