This features is already in my list. Like quora does, user can ask question without any description, right from a popup. Later description can be added if they wish. I am not sure about time of implementation. But will be added soon.

Its because you set AnsPress base page as home page. read FAQ http://anspress.io/documents/?doc_page=faq. This page will describe how to set AnsPress to home page. there is no real use of /base, it will be removed in upcoming version.

No you cant, but this may be added in near future.
