Is there a way to pull the top 5 questions onto an external website?

When im testing my site and a new user signs up, they get assigned a certain role “customer”, then when they try to ask question in anspress page it says “you do not have sufficient permissions”. I thought there would be a setting to set permissions, but it’s not in any of the configuration tabs. How can I let any user signed up ask a question?

It works great – but when I post a question the link to the question goes into my menu bar automatically. The answer pages created – seem not be able to be changed theme wise.

Dear developer,

First of all, I really like anspress. And with the latest updates and additions is has become very powerful!

I did however notice an issue with anspress catagories: On my site I have both anspress and wp-filebase running. Today I noticed that when I press the shortcode generator icon in my editor the following fatal error. In turn this disables the easy generation of the wpfilebase tags and finding the file id’s. Perhaps its a minor thing?

I have to start out by saying this plugin has so much potential and is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!

I have used bbPress for years and dislike it because it’s nothing more than a “left behind” core WordPress plugin. So much potential, but damn it sucks. Seriously.

While looking for a replacement today, I came across both AnsPress and DW Question & Answer. I started with AnsPress and quickly noticed that everything was almost perfect out of the box. AnsPress, in my opinion, is far and away better than both bbPress and DW Question & Answer – by a long shot!!!!

1. The “Add image to editor upload or add image from link” seems to be broken. The “add image from link” works just fine, but the “upload” button is definitely broken.

Any word on this? I’m currently using Version 2.2.0.2

2. The speed of the “bottom-left notifications” is a bit slow. I personally don’t think there needs to be a 2-3 second delay like we currently see. I think the notifications should be immediate and hope this can be fixed.

I’m facing errors when I try to activate Anspress after upgrading from 1.4.6 (was working like a charm) to 2.2.0.2…

Already done:
– User profile editor > reset done (default admin capabilities)
– Max execution time > changed from 60 to 160
– Addons added prior to try to activate

1) 500 error when I try to activate from Network admin (ok maybe not supporting multisite….)
2) “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” error message when I try from main site or sub site (I have reset the admin profile credentials….Unsuccessfully)

Can you help?
