It works for me. You either have set options related to comments (disable comments?), or you may have some javascript issues.

Shortcode is disabled in question and answer. You need to ask the author if there is any option for perg_match in contents.

Its look like you are not using printf in your override. This doesn’t happen in default question theme.

I can confirm sorting works in 2.4.1 Both in list of questions, and in question itself. Search works as well.

Since 2.4 we are not using tooltipstered. Are you still using old version?

I have the latest revision and the problem exists. Letters count set for Questions applies to Answers and it’s really painful as the admin user to  change the settings. I think the limits shouldn’t apply for admin user.
