Buddypress causing avatar to not display

BuddyPress is not required by AnsPress. AnsPress have its own profile system. All you need is Anspress/TML/Social Login. If BuddyPress is installed then AnsPress avatar will not work. By default its uses BuddyPress profile.

Which version are you using? I can confirm the “Hide author credits” works fine with AnsPress 2.4.4 and AskBug 1.8

AskBug 1.8 has exactly the same problem.  When a child theme is used, the update notice reappears and won’t go away even after update ~ http://screencast.com/t/L0lUvJ45q

Integrate WPML with AnsPress

AnsPress is being tested with WPML. Next version 2.4.5 will be WPML compatible.

Changes to words in plugin

You can try editing the language files (.po .mo) Maybe it will works for you. Save those two files on your computer, so if the plugin is updated, you only need to upload the language files to keep your translation.
