I have just bought the Askbug theme and I am playing with it. Is it possible to get the demo data so I can play with a “full theme”. Thank you in advance and best regards.

Can you share with me the best way to integrate the Questions and Answers from Anspress and MailChimp or other similar service?

I would like to be able to send an email daily my community that has the newest or most active questions, for example.

Have I run into a limitation of a bug?

I have 141 categories I need AskBug to work with, but it only shows 20 on its category page.

How do I get round this as its not as simple of making subordinate categories?

We are working on improved notification, subscription and activity system of AnsPress since last month and we think its ready. We are going to release a beta of 2.4.

We have created 4 tables to improve notification system:

ap_activity      - store activity.
ap_activity_meta - store activity meta.
ap_subscriptions - store subscribers.
ap_notifications - store activity notification.

Question, answer and comment notification are improved for better notification. From now on participants will not get notifications of every question activity unless they are following question. Check below:

Asker notification:

  1. Notified for new answers.
  2. Notified for new comment on question.
  3. Notified question edit.
  4. Notified for answer edit.

Answerer notification:

  1. Notified for comments on own answer.
  2. Notified for answer edit.
  3. Notified when answer is selected.

Commenter notification:

  1. Notified for followup comments.
  2. Notified on parent post (answer/question) edit.

I would like to know if it is possible to use Divi Composer (or another visual composer) with the Askbug theme. I would like to customize some aspects of the homepage and probably other pages. How is build the homepage? Do you use shortcodes to show all the information or is hard coded in the template?

Can you explain in a little more detail how to setup the Question Feature Image in the Questions and Answer Page? such as the image above with the php code.

I would like to allow users to have direct access to the questions they follow, without having to go through User> Subscriptions.

Is there a way to disable the sort by -or- set the sort by to display ALL of the questions at once rather than only the actives?

Hi,

I downloaded the latest anspress plugin from github repository. When I replaced the earlier version I was using with the latest downloaded one, the User Profiles as well as all user menus and notification dropdown just disappeared. When I click on username it displays a blank page.

Please let me know if I have missed any settings when upgrading to latest version.
