I have the askbug theme, it irritates me on the Mobile view that we have so much wasted space.

Do you have the CSS code the puts the avatar and voting buttons inside the box and thus saving space?

Is there a seo fix? The descriptions for all questions are the same… this is a monumental problem

I have the anspress plugin at my site and I get fidback form my customers that they cannot write questions they get a notice that say “you don’t have permision to ask question”

I set the setting to everyone can ask question and still they can not ask.

what is the problem?

Hi Rahul,

i want to make member display name unique, eg: 2 members cant have the same display name when they update profile.

I got the code from

https://github.com/bappi-d-great/WordPress-Protect-Duplicate-nickname-and-display-name/blob/master/code.php

but it doesnt work, I am using anspress profile, so i go to my profile page and change my display name to something already exist, save, it doesnt throw error.

my question is, is anspress using different db call or something? do you know what change i need to make to make the code to work?

Thanks!

I have anspress 2.4.4 and i add Categories for AnsPress feature but i have this error “Category extension require AnsPress 2.4-RC or above. Download from Github http://github.com/anspress/anspresshow can i solve that?

To get AskBug/AnsPress to run under 1.5 seconds ~ the Google threshold for slow sites ~ you can probably use just about any caching system, and still only be able to get it down to about 3.5 seconds.

What I did was to use WP Rocket ~ which produced the 3.5 seconds ~ and then added to it “Rocket Lazy Load” [ https://wordpress.org/plugins/rocket-lazy-load/ ] which allowed me to lazy load all those Gravatars that were slowing the page load down.

Now the site is below 1.5 seconds, or even 1 second, if you believe Pingdom.
